    I know that certain security consulting agencies offer defensive and evasive driving courses for the drivers of VIPs and top corporate officials, but the price their courses is way over our heads. However, given the situation in the Metropolitan area these days, I think such driving skills are a necessity.

    Would you guys know of any reputable company or individual who can teach effective evasive and defensive driving techniques to ordinary (read: low budget) motorists like us who are interested in increasing the chances of our survival on the road?

    Curriculum should include the following:
    * Developing environmental awareness while driving
    * How to identify potential trouble spots
    * How to escape from an ambush, kidnap, or attempted robbery
    * How to outrun or outmaneuver a pursuing automobile or motorcycle
    * Etc., etc.

    No need to apply with CIA... I'll just work for a few months with Jell Transport Corp. Hindi lang evasive driving matututunan ko dun, OFFENSIVE driving pa :freak:

    Good tip, Otep. Thanks. Actually, I came across a two-part article on O'Gara in the motoring section of the Inquirer last No.v 13 & 20. They already sold out their stake in the firm to their Filipino partners, and the firm is now called Exo Armoring Inc. located somewhere in Mandaluyong. Will try to give them a call.
