I disagree with Baiskee. Using Mikaztro's data and some more research from nba.com, let's see how much they would have produced per 48 minutes, to take out who has more playing time issue. check out the following PER 48 MINUTES:

    rookie
    Kobe Bryant LEbron James
    ppg 23.5 25.4
    bPG 5.9 6.7
    APG 4.0 7.2
    SPG 2.1 2.0
    BPG 1.0 0.9

    2ND yr
    Kobe Lebron
    ppg 28.4 28.8
    rpg 5.7 8.5
    apg 4.6 8.4
    spg 1.7 2.7
    bpg 0.9 1.1

    NOW
    Kobe Lebron
    ppg 31.4 28.8
    rpg 7.2 8.5
    apg 7.5 8.4
    spg 1.5 2.7
    bpg 0.9 1.1

For the current season, kobe averages 20.6 field goal attempts. Lebron 18.8. In effect, Lebron takes fewer shots but has a much higher field goal percentage. His rebounds, assists, and steals are higher. More importantly, NBA has established what they call EFFICIENCY RATING, scored as pts+reb+ast+stl+blk -((FGA-FGM)+(FTA-FTM)+TO))/Game. Using this rating:

    [INDENT]Kobe Bryant Lebron James
    per game 23.85 7th 27.32 3rd in the league
    per 48min 27.24 26th 32.06 7th in the league

I believe its very clear. Lebron is IT.
