The question, really... is how much CO2 we're pumping in versus how much we're taking out. There's no debate in the scientific community that Global Warming is happening. The only debates left are the mechanism by which people contribute to the Greenhouse effect.

While Al Gore's "Documentary" included a lot of incorrect assumptions, "The Great Global Warming Swindle" is an out and out piece of trash...

One scientist featured in the film was outraged at how he was misrepresented in the film, which forced Channel4 to remove his interview. Another featured scientist contends that the film is not scientifically accurate.

The film was also the subject of a lawsuit, and Channel4 was forced to remove/amend some portions of it.

Which probably gives it about as much credibility in the debate as an industry-funded US conservative.
