Silver nitrate is very expensive...it has silver...it is used in photography nuon (black and white developing).

A cheaper lason for dogs (but is generally for rats talaga) is zinc phosphide. Tig P5 lang ang small plastic, available sa typical poultry supply store. The problem with this is that it is quite toxic. If the dog dies because of this poison and somebody eats the dog, the person could also die. Zinc phosphide causes pagdudugo (hemoraging) sa stomach. This would cause the death.

However, I really do not recommend this as an option for you. I am also a dog lover.
