An earthquake shook parts of Quezon City and nearby areas past 7 p.m. Wednesday.
There were no immediate reports of damage to property reported.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology is still locating the quake's epicenter and its magnitude and corresponding intensities as of posting time.

Intensity 5 daw sa epicenter, intensity 3 lang sa Metro Manila. Kaya pala parang hindi ko napansin...

March 1st, 2006 09:02 PM #16Earthquake hits Lubang and Metro Manila areas
A tectonic earthquake rocked Lubang island in Occidental Mindoroand parts of Metro Manila at around 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, DZMM reported.
Initial reports from the Philippine Volcanology and Seismology said the tremor was tectonic in origin and was caused by the movement of the Lubang Fault Line. Its epicenter was located in Lubang island.
Director Bart Bautista of PHIVOLCS said ground movements in Lubang was at Intensity 5 while those in Metro Manila was estimated between Intensities 2 and 3.
Aside from Metro Manila and Lubang, residents in the provinces of Pampanga and Batangas also felt ground movements.
There were no immediate damage to properties reported as of posting time.
