The funny thing is, dun sa place kung san yung " MAIN VENUE " ng Earth Hour eh after the 60 minute shut-off parttyyyy to the max sila, with all the lights and other electrical things on. What I mean is, ano ba yan ... parang dun sa 60 minute shut-off eh, binawi naman nila sa all-night partyyyy nila.

well, the point of Earth Hour is NOT to save power but to generate awareness that even the simple act of turn off a single light bulb can help us be "greener".
A simple of act turn off a single light bulb multiplied by many more people can have a big effect.

March 28th, 2010 05:23 PM #15we are living on a green planet even if we are using too much fossil fuel or consuming too much energy. why kasi galing din naman dito sa planeta natin yun resources.
parang digestive system lang yan, kung sa loob lang naman nagcoconsume mga cells and organs no problem, the problem is the intake of food. yun ang foreign.
kaya di na ako nagpapaniwala sa mga green green yan. ang hindi green ay yun plutonium na nakukuha from meteorites/meteors na bumagsak dito long long ago, kita mo it can make atomic/nuclear bombs. things that can kill our planet
earth hour is for those who consume to much, feel guilty inside and invent this campaign to somehow feel that they are helping/concerned. what hogwash
