Sa tancha ko ito ang araw start ng habagat season. I heard more than 5 kulog at kidlat......

And ang nakakatuwa in just 5minutes napuno ang isang big drum ng ulan !!!!

Ill experiment nga if i can make the water bill to almost non-existent.

This is the first time na i welcome this kind of thunderstorm.... Buhos talaga ngayon. Dapat mabago na hindi dapat matakot sa ulan..... We should be happy mapupuno ang dam.

question mga sir. is there a way na mapabilis yung growth ng Fire Tree? its planted sa sidewalk. do I need to add fertilizer or top soil occasionally to make it grow taller? madalas naman dinidiligan yung seedling.

With regards to fertilizer, I was once told na UREA daw is good. How often should i add fertilizer?

Chemical fertilizers should be applied twice a year only. Before and after the rainy season. Urea is a chemical fertilizer. I suggest you buy the "complete" fertilizers, the kind being sold in garden stores.

Another is organic fertilizer, vermicast or vermi-compost is good for all plants, trees included. Again this is a complete fertilizer.

Molasses (if you can get some) diluted 1:10 parts water, is a good foliar organic fertilizer spray.

Likewise vermicast/vermi-compost that is steeped into a bucket of water overnight to produce "vermi-tea" is also a good foliar spray. Or you can bury an empty mineral water bottle next to your trees, and fill these up with vermitea. Punch very small holes around the bottle before burying, they will act as drip irrigators, para derecho sa tree roots ang nutrients.

One of my mango trees in our Batangas farm. Notice that the area around the trunk is covered with goat compost.
