i think it all boils down to upbringing and i think 'dumb' is not the right word. my two-year old son can almost operate all our appliances at home. he picks up fast and will imitate anything that you do. I think the right word here is 'numb', generation nowadays lack social responsibility, politeness and just plain old courtesy.
it's not the kids's fault but the parents who forgot to teach them
