    We call them by the three letters of their plate numbers..

    Previous cars:

    NPY - Nappy
    PTP - PTP
    PMC - PMC
    PEA- PEA
    PEN - PEN
    UMR - UMR

    lately, we called them Lance (for Lancer), Lynxie (for Lynx)

    For as long as I can remember, we always have names for our cars and I can still remember them:

    Mazda 2 - Tiny
    Ford 17M - Magnum
    Toyota Corolla Sprinter - Popoy
    Nissan Sentra - Marvin
    Mitsubishi Lancer - Ester
    Suzuki Esteem - Joey
    Ford Lynx - Norbert

    We called them
    Nissan Sentra = Green
    Nissan Sentra = Red
    Vios = Vios

    Even if we already sold Green, if we see her on the road my son would exclaim, "Ay si Green o!!"

    hehe kami rin. our toddler nephew calls our vehicles also by its plate number's first 3 letters, kaya yun nakasanayan na... sila TNY, TTT, UTL, UDA and XBH.
