DM Transit, Death Machine! rumor was that the only question asked from driver applicants was "ilan na napapatay mo". if the answer was more than 1 then he gets hired! pag patay kasi ang nasagasaan e insurance lang ang katapat, pag buhay e may hospital bills pa na kasama.

sama cousin ko sa napatay ng walanghiyang DM na yan!

Wow, those are cool pics.

Nga pala here are some trivia about EDSA: It was constructed during the time of Manuel L. Quezon and was initially named Junio 19 after the birthday of Jose Rizal. It was later renamed Highway 54 for the plain reason that it was 54 meters wide. Finally on 1959 it was named Epifanio De Los Santos Avenue or EDSA as we know it today.

There was one nice movie house before sa Guadalupe Market. Yung ABC Tri Cinema. Mabango at malamig noong bago pa iyon. I wonder kung buhay pa ito?

crame, marikina and pasig, san juan del monte to the right <<< means the
southernmost intersection possible is santolan, before crame which is northernmost in the sign.

manila, sta mesa heights and espana extension and san francisco del monte on the signs pointing towards the photographer AND (the only place names I can read from the signs) UP, ??, balara, culiat, ?? and ?? pointing away <<< santolan and aurora blvd are out bec those do not lead to sfdm to the west nor balara/culiat to the west. i only know of 3 roads that can lead to UP, balara and culiat going east AND that also leads to (repeat, leads to but not necessarily pass through) manila, sta mesa, espana ext and sfdm going west, and these are west ave, quezon ave and east ave.

in addition to the above, the signs are arranged perpendicular to each other, so that means the intersection is perpendicular and not askewed like west/north/edsa or east/timog/edsa.

me thinks this is edsa corner quezon avenue.
I think it's the corner of EDSA and Aurora Blvd. because of the signs going to Espana Ext. and Sta. Mesa.

No... that is just a commercial area using the name "highway 54".

Highway 54 is the old name of EDSA.
