    define "peke".
if i sell a battery designed to replace oem, but labeled as to obviously not to be mistaken as oem,
would that be a "peke" ?

wow! Those fake watches must be expensive pa rin? May napanood nga ko vlog sa GH tiangge, they are selling fake shoes and bags, some are 10k and up. I'd rather buy an original cheaper brand instead

Same. One of the things I hate the most is inconvenience so I'd rather pay extra for good service and experience. Kaya I apply that in almost everything. Example I don't fly cebu pacific hehehe

yup. if the watch you're looking at is around 500K... they're selling at 150-200K... pero balik $$$ if makita ng service center na fake yung watch.

    naalala kong bigla...

    Daniel Wellington watches

Aminado naman kahit service center and sellers... di nila napapansin yung ibang fake watches kapag dinadala sa kanila for service (battery and strap)

yung mga shoes sa GH na tig 750.. sa umpisa lang mukhang ok.. pag sinuot mo na.. ibang iba na itsura.. panget talaga quality.. nagkalat din fake shoes sa FB.. pero madami pa din bumibili..

I'd rather buy the real deal na naka sale.. rather than buying fake.. like Adidas.. minsan nag 70% off sila.. i always buy on sale pala.. bihira ako bumili nang hindi naka sale..

perfume.. dami din fake.. minsan mahal din bentahan nila pero fake pala.. kaya mas maganda kung sa rustan's or landmark.. pwede pa 0%..

    well,
even the basic cheap quartz watch can keep better time than the much more expensive mechanical branded watches...

daniel wellington.. them's the "branded generic watch", 'di ba?

depende na rin sa branded service center... what their policy is... whether they want to service the competition or not, even as that competition is a cheap fashion watch...
if it's only for the generic battery replacement and strap replacement, any half-decent watch shop would be more than willing to do that.
a jack-of-all-trades watch owner can probably do it, himself.

like many countries, if the brand isn't officially registered in china and someone makes a formal complaint, the chinese authorities can't run after the fakers.
but you're right. china can make quite good products, if they set their mind to it.

    as a chinese manufacturer said,
"tell me your budget. i can make you a product that looks just like the real thing on the outside. what's inside it, however, is where your budget comes into consideration."

a few weeks ago, a workplace person showed me his new faux rolex. it looked good on the outside, but he couldn't adjust the date function. and a few days later, the bezel had fallen off.
this is in contrast to my faux sub (gifted to me), which, after more than ten years, still functioned well enough; i still wear it from time to time, as it wears so nice on the wrist.

there's the shoemart watch man in their watches department. 300?
there's also the prestige watch center technician, who will do it significantly cheaper than the SM-based technician. 200?
the official seiko center outlet in sm north edsa, does it for, surprisingly, even cheaper than the above. 150?
the mall corridor watch strap facilities also do battery change. price?

    Yes or No
    Why?
    back to the thread topic...

yes, I think I still have 3 Nike gym shorts.

I was going to the gym sa San Juan then natapunan ng ulam shorts ko.
I saw a tiangge selling 3 for XXX (di ko maalala kung magkano). kaso the male shorts were so long (para akong magBasketball nung 90's). kaya I asked the seller for ladies shorts (ok naman, masikip lang sa crotch)

Sometimes ginagamit ko pa sa gym yung shorts ko lalo na kapag di Platinum ynug napupuntahan kong gym.

With handbags pag replica they copy the exact design but leave out the brand.

yun din nasa isip ko... kasi, using NBA/PBA jerseys as an example (may kilala kasi akong collector)

Nike official jersey partner ng NBA
so if we say "replica," wala syang logo ng Nike?

as for the PBA naman... nagulat ako sa friend kong collector.
iba material and quality ng "game worn" jerseys nila compared to the ones na nabibili sa malls

may game worn NBA jerseys din sya, kaso di namin ma-compare yung quality with store bought, play-offs kasi yung game worn na nabili nya.
