Have you ever noticed you buy pirated cds(vcd, audio cd, dvd, softwares? Majority of the PC users here in the Philippines use pirated MS Windows installed in their own PC. How about replacement parts for your vehicle? Originals are too expensive. How about buying fake celphone casing or the likes. At times, we buy what we perceived as originals and later discovering it as a fake. Nowadays, it is very hard to decipher what is real and what is not.
bro, sorry di ko lang maiwasang mag-react....

imho, iba ang definition ng fakes kesa sa replacements like what you are pointing out din sa spare parts ng vehicles. replacements are alternatives as far as i know, from the original parts. i really cannot enumerate now what spare parts can be faked (siguro pwede mga shock absorbers and such...).

ang fakes na pwedeng sabihin is for example, are those watches (rolex) na look like real except, makikita mo na yung movement ng hands nya is not as that smooth as the real thing.

    fish tayo tol.

Replacement parts are also known as OEM replacements, they're not fakes...

Fake means that you're using a name brand's image, name or likeness to promote yourself. Replacement brands are legitimate products under a totally different brand and identity.

You won't see 555 items being branded as "Toyota Genuine Parts"

ako pag shoes di talaga pwede fake. Atsaka, with my shoe shize, wala atang mabibiling fake. As for others? well depende na. Fake or orig, I still check the quality. I do have a Fake cK polo shirt with me right now. siguro mga 5-7yrs. na. Meron din akong fake tuxedo w/ matching slacks which costed less than 1kphp, I still use it up to now.

Class A replica yata tawag dun or something.

    Peace...

i have an orig addidas naman for heavy activities like basketball.

i have a fake nike watch that i bought yesterday.i also have orig kenneth cole watches.depende eh.pag may laro ako ng soccer, i use the fake watch. o pag may kalikot sa kotse...or whatever na baka magasgas ang watch mo.

pag gimmick or parties or school, i use the other watch...

t shirts naman i dont care kung orig or fake.puro nga bigay ng mga oil companies ang tshirts ko....bihira ang mamahaling brands. but i buy my pants in gh nga lang.

in the end, whatever ang kailangan ko, whether orig or not, ginagamit ko depende sa situation.

What I meant by fake in replacement parts like:
Wiper blades, axel boot and other I can't hardly remember. I bought Bosch wiper blades and soon found out that it was fake. An imitation made from Taiwan yata. I was duped!

Frank: Actually I've been a victim of fake Winston cigarettes. I was a Winston smoker before. Now, I switched to Marlboro Lights. Nakakadala at nakakainis. It's like smoking papaya leaves or something. You can't even finish a single stick of it much more a pack. Grrrrrrrr!!!!!!

    Nope.

Much, much better for my wallet and peace of mind.

yun din ang balita about lucia tan and marlboro,

Sometimes I don't care if it's fake or if it's branded.

Case to case basis lang talaga.

Quality has its own price tag.
