Specifically here in the Philippines... do you bother to buckle up (safety belt) before you drive off? How about if you ride as a passenger, do you still buckle up? Do you tell your kids to buckle up? Do you tell your passengers to buckle up? Do you use your seatbelt(s) at all?

i always put on my seat belts, everytime i use my car. As well as with my family.

we are afraid of getting caught by the MMDA not using our seat belt thats why, upon riding the car - first thing we do is to put on our seat belt.

And its an effortless thing to do.

    Its better safe than sorry!!!

    Seat belt saves lives!

yes, i even have stickers on my windows that says
    "buckle up for safety".
twice na kasi ako nabangga kasi,
in 1984 by a jeep and 1991 by an armoured car.
there were no seatbelts then and luckily i survived
those accidents. ford escort pa ang car ko nuon.

How about kung ibang tao ang sumakay... sinasabihan niyo rin ba na mag-seatbelt?... kahit sa back seats nakasakay.

What if you are the passenger sa ibang sasakyan... nag-seatbelt pa rin ba kayo?

What if malapit lang ang destination or hindi naman dadaan sa main thoroughfares.

from the past couple of years, napansin ko pinoy drivers (private and taxi) have learned to
use the seat belts. for my part para naging instinct na pag-upo sa driver's seat kabit agad ng seat belt, i buckle up also pag nasa front passenger seat ako

There was one time when i went to a gasoline station pag tapat ko sa kargahan bumaba ako

yes i do ... kasi kaya nga nandun ang seatbelt, to protect the driver and passenger.. at saka isa sa mga naging habit ko ang pag susuot ng seatbelt before turning on my engine... parang safe na safe ako pag may seatbelt .....
    just my thoughts... ;-)

    Patawarin niyo po ako ..........

hindi po ako mahilig mag seatbelt when im driving

My GF's the one who's always bugging me to wear it..... syempre sunod naman ako.

Pag pasahero naman ako, i usually follow the lead of the guy who's driving.

Less than 20km/h ride within my vicinity hindi na ako nag seatbelt.

yes I do... kahit nung di pa uso ang seatbelt law...
my children always do... nasanay na kasi sila ever since they were little - I trained them to wear seatbelts, whether malayo or malapit lang byahe namin. it gives me a feeling of safety, parang di ako mapakali kung di nakasuot ng seatbelt. pag di ako nagseat belt sinasabihan ako ng daughter ko. when I drive too fast... sinasabihan din ako ng daughter ko... langhiyang bata yun... kaliliit liit pa...backseat driver na :D

I always wear that stupid seatbelt. Its just for safety concerns.

Yep. I also got used to wearing seatbelts to a point that it feels weird to be without it.

Kaya lang... I take 'em off when I'm about to park the car.
