    That the leader of the most ruthless city to motorists has finally been given his just desserts, but for the wrong reasons. I would support the suspension if it were for the abusive traffic scheme and no 10-3 coding windows, but the issue of ghost employees is simply unproven, and just about every mayor is guilty of it. It's also unconsitutional that the vice mayor didn't take over, obviously because he's Binay's ally. Well that means someone else could have replaced Erap in 2001.

    I hate Binay's guts but they could've done better than the ghost employees issue. Lalabas lang na kinawawa si Binay. Dapat tinira nalang nila via lifestyle check. Mas matibay siguro kaso nila.

    It's just a suspension. Hindi naman arrest warrant. Maytinatago ba siya? He should step down and let the investigations vindicate him.

    Sure....he can say the administration might put together "evidences" against him. Pero, risk is too high pag nagbackfire.

    I say...let the truth set him free.

    From what I hear from my lawyer friends is that Binay is being suspended coz he awards multi-million peso municipal contracts with the Makati municipal gov't without having to go through the required bidding process (like garbage collection services, etc.).

    Now my respect to cory has started to fade. She claims she knows nognog (binay) as a good person/politician. what the! Are you from makati?
    Madame, you should ask those people in the 2nd district about ghost employees and who has the most number of properties.

    Even Swannie (Susan Roces) has already voiced her support for Binay, declaring him as a "family friend".

    Medyo sablay nga lang ang timing (they should have done this long ago), pero dapat tapusin na ang paghahari ni Binay sa Makati. He's already sat in the mayoralty chair for so long, it's become part of his anatomy.
