meron nga rules of engagement eh:

    1. shoot first ask questions later. if suspects die during the shooting, they're definitely guilty.
    2. if they live, shoot them again.
    3. if they escape or try to escape, pump at least 32 rounds of various calibers into the vehicle until it stops. then arrest the suspects for attempting to elude arrest. there is now a case to make the arrest (crime of resisting arrest!) so the suspects may in fact live.

o di ba, they followed it to the letter pa nga e!

    hehehehhehe

the thing i noticed though, is what will happen if anything is that the cops will just be relieved of duty. Shouldnt they be charged with deadly assault or something? Lagi na lang, "kung napatunayan na may kasalanan sila e tatanggalin natin sa serbisyo...."

if you read the news carefully, they thought that the car was stolen. someone may have wrongly reported that.

apparently, the blockade was built specifically for them.

but for regular checkpoints, it is relatively safe. just turn off your headlights, open a crack in the window, appear calm and drive slowly. just be wary in you are all males in an AUV - i've seen that these are the kind of situations where the police really scrutinizes the vehicle.
