Exactly Master SE. But anti gun liberals only see the negatives in owning firearms, never the positives. Hence, there will always be sheeple willing to surrender their right to self defense to an irresponsible government.
Evil exists in the world, people are deluding themselves if they think their government can protect them all the time.

The US has a high rate of gun ownership but it's not just the number but the kind of ammunition they can access and are legal to buy. These mass murderers are using high powered ammo they can buy online. You don't stop the gun problem of mass shootings by arming the citizens with more guns for self defense. I think it's only right to ask for a more strict regulation in owning guns.
