baka may round two yung ad. sa round two, vitiligo na siya.

    so i wonder,
which ad will be more effective in selling the skin-whitening product: the white skinned, or the dark-skinned?

I'd be interested to know as well. I'm inclined to believe the latter will be more successful. Seems people like believing beautiful lies a lot more than plain (or ugly) truths.

skin-whitening products probably do not sell well, up in the higher northern hemisphere, nor in the lower southern hemisphere.

beauty is usually skin-deep, at first.
only after you get to know the physical beauty, does the hidden deeper beauty shine thru.

White skin being attractive is universal even among Caucasians. Asians that have naturally white skin (Korean and Japanese) want even whiter skin

This is an interesting documentary. Skip to 24:42

White is considered beautiful as it evokes immaculateness, virginity and skin of the upper class

As far back as 17th century France it was clearly stated that white skin is attractive. Even among African Americans, dark skinned individuals suffer discrimination.

Yung pagpa tan ng mga caucasian is to signify that they are rich enough to travel and lay in the beach. But these people will not make their skin black.

    Anyway OT na.

Buti ng mukhang pustiso, at least hindi madilaw ngipin. When a person has yellowish or brownish teeth, kahit anong brush mo mukha pa rin madumi.

Pakita mo nga ngipin mo na nakapa perfect.

some folks' teeth are naturally white. others' are naturally yellow-ish.
it will not do, to rationalize, one way or the other.

I had my teeth bleached before because I used to drink iced tea exclusively. My dentist told me that the lightest my teeth can get is the second lightest possible.

Pero I did notice when a person ages especially if smoker, dumidilaw ngipin. I don't know if my observation is correct pero it seems like the teeth ages din in terms of color.

I have only this picture of my teeth. Di naman nag mukhang pustiso. Now it's discolored again because I did not maintain it, but not naman yung yellow na ewan haha

Si crush mid 40s na pero grabe ganda ng teeth, pati lips ang sarap i kiss heehee

Our family dentist discussed this with us and advised against it... cancerous daw ang bleaching solution (?)
