True, pero may iba kasi kahit nasa mid 30's pa lang bumabagay yung yellow gold. Pero yung Yachtmaster II bro kahit na nasa 35 pa lang bagay na.

December 5th, 2011 11:47 AM #16bvlgari offers same price but only on solid steel,
im not new to patek.. my bro owns a few... does not tickle my fancy... sa tingin ko parang hindi siya worth it sa size at amount nung materials niya... cant even believe a few grams of one watch would cost 5m... other than the name, i dont see the point
hindi ko trip styling ng hublot.... pero i really like their carbon fiber watches.. but cost same as gold...
materials wise rolex pawns..

That's a valid point, at that price range for a watch, why not look also at something outside of the Rolex. (a truckload of Casio G-Shocks perhaps? ) I'm not a watch connoisseur but when i browse through magazines, there are really a lot of choices that can make your wrist stand out.
What watch really holds value BTW?

I'd go for the rose gold. But if stainless steel were among the choices, I'd go for that first, then rose gold. For watches that hold value, there's no question on a genuine Rolex (complete with certificates) ... that, and Vacheron Constantin are my top picks.
Be careful with channels like "China Observer" on YouTube. There is a clear bias in their posts and...
