hmm..as far as i can remember, Rustan's has been carrying first class(and pricey) cutlery
kung ung medyo exotic ang hanap mo...sa Gourdo's kaya?
sa 5th floor ng SM Megamall - its a german brand forgot the name though
Try nyo sa SM mega 5th flr. Henckels brand meron German and China. meron din sila branch sa Shang and Podium. Wostoff is also a good brand.
I got a set from my pinsan last month. It's Solingen and my cousin ( he works as a seaman) got it from Germany. I remember he got 3 sets there. I'll try to ask kung available.
wmf, made in germany... got a few sets while in working in saudi
wmf were available at rustan's...
last montn or two month ago, naglabas ang rustan's ng isang portugese brand... maganda sya, unique ang design at half the price ng mga wmf
Don't know about these brands, mukhang wala. But all Rustan's branches sell the same stuff, basically. Minsan lang out of stock sa isa, meron sa kabila, pero the brands are the same.Originally Posted by ozcity

try mo royal selangor sa glorietta four. i do not know if they still sell cutlery though.
There's Solingen at the P1 level of the Power Plant Mall. Fine imported cutlery for all purposes. If that's not enough, there's also Cooks Exchange.
What I have is a chinese cleaver thats as wide and as tall as a small shoebox cover. Its made of carbon steel (yung kinakalawang) and not as beautiful but not as pricey as those described above. What I like about it is that I can make it screaming sharp in no time with just a sharpening stone and a few swipes of steel. If you happen to watch a chinese cooking show on TV thats the one.
