Ano ano ang mga naranasan ninyong weird experiences or culture shock in dealing with other people from other countries/cultures/ethnic groups?

This will be helpful for most of us when we encounter such people, to be mindful of the things we should watch out for.

    -----------------------------------------------------

the Chinese girls (or from what I observed when I am in Shanghai...), nagpapatubo ng buhok sa kili-kili. according to them, pag malinis kili-kili mo, prosti ka. so maski dami magaganda and mga parang model dun, may buhok sa kili-kili.

karamihan ng mga chinese mainlanders na nakasama ko sa trabaho ang ingay kumain ng noodle soup or uminom ng hot drinks. yung pag-slurp nila is louder than ordinary. somebody told me it's their way of cooling the soup/drink. pero minsan kasi nakakairita lalo na if u take them to a quiet fine-dining restaurant. nagtitinginan kasi yung ibang diners. hehe.

    Heto:

Dito sa Saudi kaugalian nila na dapat you place your right hand over your left chest pag makipagkamay sila or ikaw na Foreigner sa kanila.

Isa pa, dito bawal ang suntukan kundi you have to hit the person by your sandals.

Dont ever eat with your left hand, thats dirty daw.

When you sit comfortably, never cross your legs and show the Sole of your foot facing a Saudi, thats an insult.

If you dont have facial hair and you have white complexion tingin sa iyo Gay.

When you are in singapore and you don't eat or want maanghang na food....ask muna ng serbidor kung "Chilli" ba yung order mo or not. For some foods you should mention "NO CHILLI" din ..... other wise youre in for a great suprise!!!....food is so chilli that your taste buds will be numb that you won't even be able to know kung anu talaga ang lasa ng food....only chilli taste!

Of course kung mahilig ka sa maanghang...their dishes is one of the best....next to spicy Thai foods IMO.
