    ... 1st 40K of Salary - 1k lang yong tax...
...more or less mga 8 % at most lang babayaran mong tax sa Singapore..

IMO, 3.5K is a good offer being a first timer in Singapore.

Your salary is only taxed after they compute your total chargeable income for 1 year.

    On the first $30K - $375
    On the next $10K*5.75%

    On the first $40K - $950
    On the next $40K*8.75%

After they give the tax assessment you have the option to pay it in full or installment.

.. 3.5K is good enough .. as much as gusto mo magtipid .. i suggest you try out everything you can in that place .. try to live within the lifestyle that you can afford .. hindi yung gugutumin mo sarili mo para makatipid .. i worked in singapore a couple of years back .. yung mga kasama ko .. sobrang tipid .. pag-balik namin dito .. may nauwi silang konting pera .. ako naman .. umuwi ng maraming kwento .. ubos na pera nila ngayon ..
