I get irritated pag sunod ng sunod. I feel like a shoplifter na binabantayan. It happened to me once in 168. I got so irritated that I told my Mom, do I look like a shoplifter? (Making sure the sales girl hears it) That stall does it to all customers. Paranoid ata yung owner at ang dami pang CCTV. i never went back there na.
I like the SAs that know just when to approach. They greet you as soon as you come in and keep a good distance. But once you make direct eye contact, that's when they approach you.

I worked for a few years in one of the premier members only club in Makati. Discrimination at it’s worst. Mestizos (Kastilaloys) will treat anyone working for them like slaves. Puro utos, expects A1 treatment for low pay or for free. Makes it appear that it is a privilege & an honour to be working for them (sa tagalog, pasalamat ka nagtratrabaho ka para sa kanila).

The pinoys are more racist statements are so true.
Prime example is those who have bisaya accent or any provincial accent are being laughed at.
Also, we are not as socially and culturally sensitive as other races.

Naalala ko talaga utol ni gf parang naasar sakin dahil gusto ko mag jersey or tshirt then short pagpunta airport kasi mainit. Di naman party ang pupuntahan [emoji21][emoji21]

There's also this thing with some sales staff sometimes when they try pass off a customer to each other when they think it's gonna be a small sale. When I asked about it once, the guy who tended to me apologized for his companions and told me they only get paid in commissions. After that I made it a point to recommend that guy to all my family and friends.
Hate to admit it but appearance does play a role in how people treat each other. I can't really blame them as most of the time, people tend to be what they look and sound like. But brick and mortar stores don't really have a choice but to shape up. With the way online sales are taking up more and more sales away from traditional retail, every sale made counts.
Would be great if staff were trained to treat everybody the same way all the time.

IIRC they're with AVID. The reported numbers in the TG article are from CAMPI.
