here's the long story:
Nagpunta ako sa aking suking banawe shop (suki since ilang vehicles na ang dinala ko doon na pina setup ko ng sounds, other accessories) earlier today... pina checkup ko lang yung video output sa aking 2DIN LCD HU...
background:
i recently had my aircon did a thorough cleaning elsewhere kaya kinailangan ibaba yung dashboard for cleaning... mukhang nagalaw yung ibang wiring between the 2DIN HU and the external TV module (dito nakakabit yung TV antenna, andito rin yung TV tuner, 2 more inputs, etc)... this module should be connected sa 2DIN HU.. ok naman yung audio but mukhang walang video...

When I got there medyo may ginagawa yung mga electrician nila.. so intay ako... ako pa ang nakapansin na bakante na yung isang electrician kaya sinabihan ko uli yung mga bossing sa loob na baka pupuwede na patignan sa tao nila... and then iniutos na nga...
simple lang yung ginawa ng electrician nila.. binuksan yung portion ng HU, then hinigpitan yung cable.. (loose connection lang)... at that point I thought of asking the bossing how much kaya yung headrest LCD.. ang ginawa nya.. instead of telling me the price.. kumuha agad kung san sya kukuha (bodega nila or sa supplier nya)... nung dumating na yung headrest LCD at prinesyuhan ako.. nagdalawang isip ako.... wasn't as cheap as I expected it... so sabi ko pass na lang...
dinagdagan pa ng sales talk nung boss pero di pa rin ako kumagat... eventually i said na bayaran ko na lang yung labor sa checkup next time na lang yung lcd headrest... tinanong ako ng boss kung magkano canvass ko, ako na raw mag presyo.. at that point decided na talaga ako na hindi na muna kunin....
in the end, he charged me 1,xxx for the checkup... medyo tingin ko sobra sobra but binayaran ko na rin.. with a thought na mukhang hindi na ako babalik sa tindahan na to....
tama kaya yun na yung "lost profit margin" nya kung sakaling kinuha ko yung lcd headrest na yun ay ipinatong nya sa simpleng electrical checkup?
as I was driving home at pinag isipan ko ang nangyari.. bilang negosyante kahit papano sayang yung benta... but as a consumer... bad trip talaga... most likely talaga hindi na ako babalik doon....
I write this experience to solicit your thoughts... this may be an isolated incident kaya hindi ko na lang pangalanan muna yung shop na yun... all these years naman okay ang trato sa akin kaya weird lang... but still... i don't think na babalik pa ako dun...Last edited by wowiesy; June 7th, 2009 at 07:23 PM.
