March 31st, 2011 11:37 AM #192Hm... sadly, Maria Ressa last left a bad taste in my mouth during the Quirino-hostage event. She was the only one still indignantly defending the press actions while everyone else ate humble pie.
Dunno what effect she had on local news reporting. From where I stand, nothing's changed. Not before, not then, not now. Still is biased , mind-deadening crap.
The coverage and reception to the story of these drug mules show the flawed logic majority in our country possess nowadays.
It could be compared to a typical incident wherein a car, cruising within all the legal measures, hits a motorcycle who was beating the red light/swerved without warning/counterflowing/etc, yet the driver is quickly put at fault.
