China bar lets customers beat up waiters

BEIJING -- A new bar in eastern China is offering customers an unusual outlet for anger -- by allowing them to use the staff as punching bags, state media said this week.

In addition to getting a drink, customers at the "Rising Sun Anger Release Bar" in Nanjing city are able to pay money to beat up staff, smash glasses, shout and scream, the China Daily said.

If that doesn't work, customers can also receive psychological counseling, the paper said.

The bar employs 20 well-built men in their 20s and 30s who have agreed to be hit.
Customers can specify how they want the men to appear -- they can even be dressed up as women, the newspaper said.

The bar charges 50 to 300 yuan (6.25 to 37.50 dollars, 4.90 to 29.50 euros) for customers to release their anger, depending on their demands.

i don't know what's worse; that people are so tight for money that they agree to get beat up, or that the resto actually has customers.

Meron atang resto na ganyan sa Tarlac. Pwede mong ibunton yung galit mo sa amo mo..... kay misis. Pinakita sa TV ito, na habang isinisigaw yung name ng kagalit nila, they can smash dishes and glasses against a wall.

hey..they're a place in tarlac that has a similar theme. but instead of beating the personnel you can throw plates, cups, electronic stuff.
The palce is Isdaanan and they have the tacsiyapo wall.

parang japan ang pinagmulang ng concept na yan; they have a resto where you can smash silverware, and one place even sets up this room that you can trash, to "experience the rockstar lifestyle". A religion teacher once described to me a place somewhere in the basement of an office building whereing employees can scream, shout, punch dummies(optionally with pictures of their superiors/tormentors), anything to let their frustrations out.

the upside to this is that at least they're not hurting anyone; then again, if your lifestyle is that stressful...
