i stopped watching when he got to soybeans and telling people to stop eating soy or whatever

obviously he's ignorant of what's happening in world trade and ignorant of what soy is primarily used for

when Trump started the trade war with China, China retaliated by halting purchases of US soybeans

(China is...was the biggest buyer of US soybeans -- China uses soy for mainly for animal feed)

so where is China buying soybeans after they stopped buying from the US?

whether or not they are clearing more rainforest to plant more soybeans i don't know

but Brazil is definitely planting more soybeans

I'm not trying to hide anything. I looked at all the alternatives and came to the conclusion that none of them are worth a damn.

It's like back in 1996. I wasn't a Clinton fan. But, the challengers all sucked, including Bob Dole. So, I voted for (incumbent) Clinton.

It looks like the same situation for 2020.
