Rims = mags in colloquial speak. That means all kinds of rims. Even the wooden ones on kalesas.

I call it mags also I know it's outdated but that's what I am used to calling it.

Pero mags is an 80s term diba? Because that was what I grew up with.

Yup, same for me too. But I remember it a bit differently. "Mags" referred to alloy wheels and "rims" referred to steel wheels. For motorcycles the steel rims with spokes were called "rayos".

around 11:xx am, i'm traversing p. tuazon and about to cross edsa towards p. tuazon. an mmda TE enforcer flagged me down and i asked, yes sir? "coding po kayo sir,,,," i know and i'm just crossing EDSA going to p. tuazon i said.
kahit na po sir, coding pa rin po kayo,,,,ordinansa po iyon sa QC,,, amina po lisensya nyo,,, huh?! tatawid nga lang ako po ako sa EDSA at pwede akong tumawid diyan, at may window tayo hindi ba from 10:00am ~ 3:pm sa QC?
TE then asked; "eh ser saan po ba kayp papunta?" wilson kako, ah sige po sir,,, sa susunod po hindi na po pwede ah. i just shook my head then off i go. lokong mmda yun ah.
