For items 1 & 2, is this a deal breaker? Coming from a '98 model, it has no cover and insulation. I observed that newer ones have these. I just don't know if this is now a standard thing.

For the rest that you mentioned, I did ask for those when I was about to drive home the car. I verified about the battery as the battery is different, I think it is a deep cycle battery. To make it easy for me, I ask where is this and that, the usual check points for fluids.

However, I never bothered to check on these things in malls or at least in casa. I do not expect those sales attendant to answer my question, should I come up with a technical one.

Well, this was my answer. And, if I like the car, I'd buy it, even if it were a VW or a mere Foton. I actually almost pulled the trigger on a Foton Thunder Ironman a few years back. Walang maibigay na unit so I got my deposit back.

For the rest I guess my dad taught me to always find out where these things are under the hood of the car.

Now, what is there to check for an engine for a brand new car? Back when I was looking for a car, the first thing I checked is the interior once I'm satisfied with how the car looks outside. I even took a seat at the back so that I may get the feeling of my passengers if it's cramped or not. I never bothered to look for the engine.

Am I missing something? Should I really check the engine? Then, what should I look for? I'm not buying a new car, but should there be an opportunity then I should know what to check aside from what I did.
....if the lyrics on the engine say "daihatsu" or "toyota".
    heh heh.

FIBA WORLD CUP ASIAN QUALIFIERS: Gilas-Australia match ends in ugly brawl | ABS-CBN Sports

With 4:01 to go in the third and the Boomers up 79-48 on Gilas Pilipinas, a free for all broke out after an incident involving RR Pogoy and Nathan Sobey.

Pogoy shoved Sobey to the floor, triggering a reaction from Australian forward Daniel Kickert. Kickert landed a hit on Pogoy as well, igniting the brawl.

Jayson Castro and Andray Blatche went after Kickert, with both appearing to land a punch.

    Me audience participation pa:

Gilas' bench was cleared in the incident as Pinoys went after the Boomers. Things escalated quickly and some water bottles were thrown from the stands towards the Australian bench in the middle of it all.

After the commotion, it appeared that Australia's Nathan Sobey took the grunt of the beating after getting hit by chair thrown apparently thrown by a spectator. Jason Cadee also looked like he took a some direct hits.

i don't care what they do to those players...i hope they catch every single person throwing bottles and chairs and ban them from all live sporting events. For life.
