Anyone using battery-powered chainsaws? Are they better than the old and noisy gas powered ones?

I need one in my farm, just the mini type for pruning branches and a useful tool na rin if ever may calamities. 14"-16" long bar will do.

STIHL pa rin ba ang go-to brand? I was checking online (shopee/laz) and mga knock-off copies nakikita ko.

i got this 18v. brushed motor. it's cr*p but OK for small branches and stuff

there are more powerful electrics with brushless motors. check them out

2 stroke is such a hassle. for small jobs electric is the way to go

Bought the small gas chain saw from stihl. Almost doble ang price diffrence sa battery powered at hindi din naman ganun kaingay. For small branches gamit namin yung garden saw

STIHL is (still) the popular brand when it comes to chainsaws. kaso ang daming peke sa market, kaya better buy direct from the distributor. i saw online mga counterfeits na "sthil"[emoji28]

Husky is better than sthil. There's local supplier, i guess the Ayala operates a plant(with KTM) exporting husky bikes together with these tools.

nice cache of power tools bro[emoji106] good to know you have access to a surplus shop. they mostly offer better deals and best bang for your buck.

i also have most tools that i need. but marami pa ako gustong mabili[emoji28]

btw, i contacted toolsnation, they got Ryobi and Dewalt. a bit pricey but at least they got the genuine items. meron sila ryobi impact wrench, both brushed and brushless motors.

i got a 10 incher brushless/cordless tsayness made for the meantime. ok naman, nakakaputol din ng mga ga-binti ang laki with ease. my bro in the US is buying me a better one as xmas gift along with other tools sa black Friday sale.[emoji4]
