    Pag nagpareserve ka, it means naka lock in na yung price. Yung ma priority ka is D.I. na isa ring kalokohan.

    yes same with mine. toyota din. ginagamit ng mga car dealers ang scare sa excise tax na parang you have to choose whether pumayag ka sa minimal price increase vs the expected excise tax increase

    Im an outlier here. I placed a 200k reservation for a car, sight unseen. The dealer has no idea about the price, availability, color options, equipment level or specification. I did this to be "first in line". Its the 2018 facelifted Mustang GT.

    Am okay with this arrangement as the demand for these cars is crazy. And the supply will be tight when it launches.

    i wonder... can one sell that reservation slot to an interested party, "in case one changes mind"?
    or does it necessarily go back to the pot, where it is parceled out, in whatever manner the decision-maker deems?

    Yes, You can "sell" your slot. Lots of fools willing to be parted with their money. I.e. look at the crazy prices of LC200s in OLX. 1.5m more than dealer price. And those dubai versions just have extra trimming and reworked head units and headrests with screens.

    yup. thats why the 2% price increase doesnt seem that bad.. i mean what's one supposed to do, go to court and ask for specific performance? by the time you get a resolution, the excise tax would have kicked in and you stand to spend more to get the unit.. dont know how it goes if you go to the dti though.

    *boybi, kung talagang tuso yung kausap mong dealer, lulusot at lulusot yan, lalo na sa quotation pa lang nila eh usually merong clause yan na "STATED PRICE IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT PRIOR NOTICE".
