my late uncle used to work for the Yulos of canlubang. he said the hacienda guards routinely do shoot people who trespass and climb the coconut trees around the golf course. the trees are a special breed as those yield more "macapuno" nuts than the ordinary coconut trees. this was during the time of Marcos' rule. they have a whole hacienda to bury the evidence, and the Yulos are of course "in" with the dictator so no witnesses will ever dare testify.
