American time instead of filipino time, being "frank", calling your american boss on a first name basis ayaw nilang matawag na sir, boss,"kuya" hehe. although tinawag nung kabarkada ko yung filipino na T.L. niya with her first name, sumimangot . Multi-culture and social diversity. mamumulat ka...

The first month I started working, I called my boss "Sir <firstname>". After a while first name basis na lang, kahit mga expats, Harry, Peter, etc.

    Sorry OT...

BTTT... you can have a day job that pays the same amount if you're in a different field.

U.S.A. is a hotpot, halohalo tao. masaya din maski papano kung iisipin...

    - I do not experience traffic at all
    - free parking
    - I have full advantage over the weekends. why? I work Sun-Thurs 9pm-6am. Libre pa food tapos tulog lang... and paid!! hehehe!!
    - IP Phone! I have my own US phone number and I can call anyone in the US and they can call me. So pag bored ako, I call my tito, tita, bestfriend, ninang, etc... kwento then sabay bilin ng pasalubong! hehehe!
    - dual 17" LCD monitors! Sarap mag-browse! hehehe! Tsikot.com on the left screen and kotseaudioclub.com on the right and my work on the background! hehehe!

I don't for for a call center but for a branch of a US based company that sells flooring they outsourced most of its business process like inside sales, accounting, claims, etc. In short, direct hire kme not like how bigger corporations get the services of a contact center like PeopleSupport or Sykes (i worked for both before). Mas mahal kse if they do it that way eh.
