Actually, no. May only sentiments is that our commision scheme (sales kse ako) has been changed almost 3 times in a span of 2 years. On top of that, the commission gets smaller with every change. Sobrang kuripot pa sa benefits and incentives yung company ko. We don't even get paid night diff...

    very good post sir fireblade.

i hope all current and prospective CC employees read it. If not to plan their future and career path, then just for a little perspective check.

good post sir fireblade. been in the industry myself for 2.5 years.. and just recently left.

all i can say is that the CC industry is not for everybody. If you have a lot of attachments (family, kids, wife, friends, hobbies, etc..), you might want to re think the career move.

It may be ok for those just starting a career, but if you have several years of working experience the change is very drastic.

just my 2 cents on fireblades points:

    Downside :

    1. Possible to lose your family -> yep. I even had a team mate who resigned because his wife was sick of him not spending holidays(xmas, new year)/birthdays with the family.

    2. Most of my Shift Managers and Operations Managers (reporting to me) have no moral authority.->there's always a feeling that they would sacrifice everything to get the metrics that the client demands

    3. If only I can share with you the stories of agents especially women, you will be so disheartened. -> one of my trainees was held up twice..

You were with which center before? Also, your point number 3 is a very common occurence. Much worse is happening nowadays.

    Hey NazQ,

I was also from there at one point. Handled Cybertron before and I was the 8th OM in 1.5 years or since the program started. Longest reigning OM for the record until I couldn't hack them anymore.

Wow! Ang dami ko na palang na miss na post dito.

Very enlightening yung mga post nyo a! I guess I will just stay here abroad for a little more time and just invest my savings in a small business. I'm considering this job kasi I want to have more time with my familiy since I'm here abroad. But with your inputs, I'm already having second thoughts.

Thanks a lot for those mind opening posts.

naku you CC guys/gals are waaaaay better off than bank/office employees, look at the bright side, anlaki ng lamang nyo sa mga bank workers. IMO you should be thankful, but thats just me.

no just banks... most staff of local companies based in Metro Manila would be lucky to get 10K/month.

even lower when it is located in the province (notice why some BPO shops are setting up in Cebu, Laguna & Bulacan?)
