Whew! Haba ng back reading ko grabe, dami nakaka relate siguro.
Buying something which you cannot afford is not just about getting something using CC or Loan. It is also about your financial capability to obtain something and still have the remaining resources to survive the following days to come. Being in debt is normal, even the richest man in the Philippines has it (AFAIK).
The only problem with most of us is, we always buy things without thinking about its effect on our budget. Although you have the dough now to buy something, it doesn't mean you can afford it. IMHO, you can only consider something that you can afford if it will not affect you financially in any other way.

^FB just made it worse for people who need to keep up with the joneses.

I find it so tacky for people to post every happening in their life no matter how mundane it is. Kulang na lang routine such as going to church or grocery ipost sa FB

Then there are also people who are out most of the time because their houses are not comfortable enough to want to stay in. Priority siguro things that can be seen the most such as cars or cellphones.
