    Maybe not directly but indirectly...

Hi guys..Its my first time to post a message here...I ride a big bike but I always visit this site...

I worked "IN" the BoC for almost 3 years....I was exec director of the nat. assns of customs brokers...so we are a private org....

And I tell you walang mangyayari diyan....manghihina ka talaga seeing clerks and ordinary utsans..having the latest phones and a lot of disposable income...ok..may ma cha-charge but theri assets are not confiscated...para bang napaaga mo lang ang retirement....

Ang BoC is a gilingan ng pera....you know in most govt agencies tuwang tuwa nag mga employees pag walang pasok...doon....masama ang loob kasi nawal yung mony making oportunity....

Saan ka nakakita ng Govt office na yung mga employess..clerks secretaries etc...are hiring thier own employees to do the menial work...of filing and what ever...and nag papasweldo is the employees themselves....

and you are right....even if there is nothing wrong with your docs..hahanapan ng butas..para lang maka delihensya.....

Midway during my stint there nag karoon ng opening for Customs police...I was offered if I wanted to come aboard... Idealistic pa ako..so i said ayoko sayangin ang pinag aralan ko and pag fridays (which is called pasko cuz that is the time nag bibigayan ng lagay...) eh naka labas ang kamay ko asking from importers and brokers...

but hearing stories like these two sisters....I might have made a wrong decision...hehehe
