sir..

i came across your message, and as an architect/contractor, maybe i can help you and give you some tips re:building permit

it really depends on the structure, is it residential? commercial? industrial? but if its a residential project, you will be needing the following:

a. architecural plans
b. allied engineering plans (with seismic analysis if 3floors or more)
c. specifications of materials
d. soil testing result (optional)
e. bill of materials (estimates)
f. Lot documents or TCT
g. current lot tax declaration
h. application form for structural, electrical & sanitary permits, from your local government engineering office (sta.rosa)
i. for projects with medical related nature, you should also provide a clearance from the department of health, waste water clearance, etc.

the engineering office will determine the cost of the building permit by assessing your bill of materials. fire department permit should also be applied for.

normally, the contractor should be the one to apply for the permits in your behalf. if you need help in your project, please send me a PM..

i hope this helps..
