If you Attack out with 50 thugs and they defend with 20, you kill 20, they kill 27. The 20 you killed as the attacker is added to your gang total, THAT IS ALL. Since they were defending the # they kill does not count to anything. So if i attack out 25 times and kill 10 each we get 250 points, if i am attacked 3x and they kill a total of 50 thugs, they get 50 points which for me personally 250-50 = my over all score of +200.

Here's how it works:

GangA's Score = Total number of thugs killed
GangB's Score = Total number of thugs killed

If GangA's Score is greater then GangB's score GangA Wins
If GangB's Score is greater then GangA'a score GangB Wins
If GangA's Score is equal to GangB's score war is a draw

So the outcome of a war is determined by one thing and one thing only, number of thugs killed. This makes the war a team effort instead of an individual effort.

If your sitting at say Hood level 5 and you decided to attack a Hood level 1 player you will defiantly win the battle and get a reward at the end depending on what you chose (cash, ho's, house levels). In that situation you helped yourself but you didn't help the gang because the gang only got say +10 points (assuming you killed all your opponents thugs).

During a gang war you want to kill as many thugs as you can so each player has to make a choice during a gang war help themselves and attack lower hood levels OR help the gang and attack in the same hood level or a higher hood level.
