Cute? Yung aso or owner? Safety violation yan! Dapat naka-seatbelt yung aso. Dapat sinabihan mo, sabay hingi ng phone number... hehehe.

That chow-chow looks like the one good chow-chow at our home. It looks good (parang lion nga) but not all chow-chow look like that. For example, the other chow-chows we have doesnt even come close in terms of looks.

    Nice pooch.

At least it didn't try to jump out of the window and bite someone like my 168lb rottweiler often tried. Chows don't look like they slobber a lot either. I don't see drool around its mouth. Good doggie.

My cousin's chowchow rides in the extended bed of her Explorer Sport-Trac.

Dog anecdote: My dad wrecked our car back in the seventies when he went to pick up the dog after it ran out into the streets in the middle of winter. After a short chase, he managed to catch it and stick it in the front seat.

Unfortunately, the dog was almost as heavy as he was. Sitting in the front seat, the dog wrestled him for the steering wheel. The winner? A tree.

cute, alright..but owning a chowchow isnt like owning a teddy bear. temperamental in nature ang asong yan. may amoy na matitira kahit anong sabon mo...a pain in the a$$ to take of the hair...

in short...FOR SERIOUS PET OWNERS only.

    bidshot and buyandsell perhaps..

Yes... furry dogs are high maintenance pets. Dito standard size na shih tzu monthly grooming starting today dahil binahayan ng kung ano-ano ung balat at balahibo to the point na nginangatngat niya na ung paa niya na parang buto. 480 grooming * Animal House and 1000 for the medicine, sprays for killing any skin pests, etc... oh and plus of course the price of 8K for buying him. But still worth it, talong-talo ang stresstabs kasi eh. Haha... :D

Also, a reason why may amoy pa rin na natitira kahit anong paligo on furry dogs is due to skin pests na rin accdg. to the vet on duty * animal house in MOA.

i once saw this dog owner keeping his huskies in an air conditioned room; i'm guessing it's the same case for chowchows so that they'll keep their thick mane.

a bit too high maintenance for me imho

our chow-chows dont need aircon. They stay in their houses during the day and at night they are free to roam in the garden.
