Ah. Sayang. That shoots down that idea.

This is my room air purifier. Apart from the ionizer, pretty low tech in comparison to the Xiaomis. I also have the older version running in the office.

I just like the form factor and simplicity of it. My old one is 3 years old. Hopefully it will last a few more years. Maybe when one of them conks out I'll try a Xiaomi.

Thought of getting one of those Sharp FP-J30 purifiers for my room also bro, kaso medyo bulky din pala siya, almost same footprint as the Xiaomi, lower height lang but chubbier. Reviews on Lazada are positive naman for that, although when I dug deeper on the effectiveness of the Plasmacluster feature parang more marketing siya than an actual gamechanger. But even without it, the built-in HEPA filter actually does a good job already.

Looks like I need another air purifier for my bedroom. While the Xiaomi works well for the living room and dining area, at night I don't have purified air in the bedroom since the door is closed and the aircon is running.

Unfortunately Xiaomi doesn't have a tabletop purifier. My top options are either the Nobico Air Purifier (2k) or the Carrier tabletop air purifier (6.7k).

I know Carrier is Carrier but I'll be spending the same amount I spent on my Xiaomi air purifier for a smaller/weaker purifier so parang hindi sulit. Then it doesn't look like they have supply of the replacement filter pa.

The Nobico naman is an unheard-of brand but it has hundreds of good reviews on Lazada and even a few on YouTube. Filters are also readily available and super cheap (380 per replacement filter).

I'm inclined to get the Nobico, unless anyone has other suggestions for a small tabletop purifier that works for a small bedroom.

Jut, what made you choose the 3H over the 3C? It has the same coverage for almost half the price, though the 3H has more filters ata. We're you able to check if the filters are readily available and acceptable cost? Thanks

    Yes.

Have had it for over 6 months now. Very effective in reducing my wife’s allergic rhinitis. Helps quickly remove smoke smells as well from cooking.

Have already replaced the filter once, 1.3k lang from Lazada.

Nag-detailing ako last time ng air purifier..

Anyone here have luck with those cheap 1k priced purifiers? They have good reviews, I just doubt if they're true or if the units lasted at least a year. I want to try one for my cats litter box.

Misseks yung Sharp namin nagpalit na ako ng filter twice. Ang nakakainis yung original na filter na hinintay ko pa from Sharp hindi nagseseal ng maayos. May gap ng maybe 2mm. Not much but enough to let unfiltered air through the gap. Mabuti pa yung no name replacement at least flush with the slot.

    placebo, in my opinion.
but as it costs only a thousing bucks...
we have one. i like it when the color changes, indicating cleaner air scenario.
    but do i feel it?
    dunno.

I was also thinking the same, actually until now, even if I own one already. I was wondering how it can clean a whole room if it was just sucking air in a single place..Maybe.if there was good air circulation. Anyway, I bought a cheap one to place near my cats litter box since the dust flies everytime they use it.

what i do know of, that has empirical evidence of utility,
    are the HEPA filters.
colleagues recommend it to folks with asthma.
many feedback that the gadget does significantly diminish the asthma attacks.
