If our politicians were like that, we would have no one left in govt.

Ah yes... let's play the "just blame the gov't for all our problems" game once again. It's only the gov't who is corrupt! :rofl01:
Though if you put some more thought on this - corruption is also present in other countries whether it is a developing one like ours or a developed one like Japan.
In this case - we can also consider those who "donated" (the contractors for the rigged bidding) to the former minister as corrupt also.
oooookaaaay... i didnt say anything about blaming anyone for the problems of the country...
I was just pointing out the difference in culture.
Where a japanese minister who gets involved in scandal would kill himself while pinoy officials who get involved in scandal would never ever do such a thing.
yes, malaki talaga ang difference ng culture nila, remember, even in their old days, they commit "sepuko" ,if their honor had been shamed,
The Japan Agriculture Minister commits suicide when his hand is caught in the cookie jar. The Philippine Agriculture Undersecretary, Jocelyn Bolante, goes to the US and claims asylum when his hand is caught in the cookie jar.The Japanese guy should have called Bolante for advise so he wouldn't have to commit suicide.
Sabi niya,- kung mayroon daw corruption o anomalyang nagawa ang isang Pinoy (whether sa gobyerno o hindi),- he/she doesn't take it against him/herself,- he/she just confesses his/her sins and he/she comes out of it immaculately....
2801:clap:
hmmm. bakit kaya yung presidente naming hapon dito di naiisipan yan....
oooops....me bad...
In today's news: Death sentence for China drug regulator
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18911849/
Guess di uso sa China ang suicide out of shame... so bibitayin nalang.
Dito sa atin... Oh, nevermind.
"It's politically motivated!!!"
"I'll see them in court!"
It's my evil twin brother (or sister)!"
"I lied! Bwahahahaha!"
You mean less corrupt pag hindi religious? haha. Joke.
AFAIK, one has to be truly repentant to be forgiven -- even in confession. It's not supposed to be a forgive and forget type of a thing. Perhaps, the church would do well to emphasize this fact. Anr/or make penance really, really difficult para alam nilang it's genuine.
