bed bugs!

Is anyone else having the same problem? The house is infested with the little buggers. Every night na lang meron akong bagong mga kagat. any tips on their control(or outright extermination)? we tried solignum, which seemed to have limited effect.

Surot? Peste talaga yan. Nocturnal parasites that feed on human blood. Ang katikati.. shees.. naalala ko tuloy dati ko boarding house. Try vacuuming sulok-sulok ng house mo pero i doubt na maalis sila lahat.

try the old way, put a ripe guava to every corner of your bed, underneath the bed, every corner of your room, syempre yung hindi mo naman mahigaan or maapakan. The scent drives them away. (killing them, not sure), plus pa-arawan mo matress and beddings mo..yan eh sabi ng mga matatanda, nung hindi pa uso pesticide.

palitan na po kasi ang matress minsan kasi may mga itlog ng surot na naiiwan kaya kahit anong bilad mayroon pa rin.....after all its your skin and ur sleeping comfort at stake :D

hmm may vacuum dati on tv network that guaranteed to remove bed bugs. ito yung vacuum na may kasamang water/steam? forgot na. sumthin like that.

imo, kerosine spray lang ata ang effective deterrent yet cheaper option sa surot..ewan ko lang sa baygon..

...how would u differentiate a bite from a bedbug and that of a mosquito? baka kasi kagat ng lamok lang yan di pala sa surot.

sunugin mo na ung buong kama tapos bili ka nang bago..

mahirap na kasi pag talagang malala na ung case mo.

Kung yung beddings mo eh naging "contaminated" din, pa steam laundry mo sa labas. Hindi pwedeng ordinaryong laba lang. Yung eggs at germs ng surot would only "die" if a garment or bedding has been laundered to temperature of 48-50 degress celcius. Para dun sa small items made of cloth, ibalot mo sa plastic (air tight) tapos ibilad mo sa araw ng mga 4-6 days. Yung sa kutson ng bed mo, try me pa steam laundry ng matagal. Dapat ang temp nung steam eh nasa 48-50 degrees celcius din. Kung hindi na makuha, sunugin mo na.

Most insecticides won't kill bedbugs. Solignum would have very little effect, as you have found out.

i'm pretty sure it's bedbugs dude B) ibang klase ung welts e...it would swell up real big, makating mahapdi, tsaka malalim ung iniiwang sugat if you scratch it and it bleeds. di na tuloy ako flawless B)

mapapansin mo rin ung 'trails' of insect bites; as in malalaman mo with little forensic insight kung saan dumaan ung pesteng basat

inabangan ko nga kaninang madaling araw: found one under my pillow right after i felt something bite at my shoulder. hinayaan kong makatakas para matrace ko ung pinagtataguan(smart little bastards too; di sya gumagalaw when the lights are on; gagalaw lang pag madilim o nasa liblib na lugar.). unfortunately nakatulog ako B) pero parang sa mattress ko nga sumuot.

Grabe yan meron ako nakita nyan sa ilalim ng matres ng isang Hotel sa Iran (kish island).. nakaka takot parang garapa ng aso hehehe reklamo ako sa front desk ayos ang ginawa .. kumuha lang ng ducktape at pinadikit lahat don hahaha kadiri nga kasi talagang real blood ang nalabas pag pinatay mo... ilang tourist na kaya na kagat non pwede kaya maging carrier ng HIV yan???

medyo magastos pero palitan mo na lang kama...palit ng bed sheet as often sa possible...
may effect kaya yung spray na ginagamit sa dust mites as preventive measure?

clean the matress, hire kang janitorial company that uses a hot water extractor.

then after that, punta ka Ace, may binebentang spray for bedbugs.

bugs are one of the triggers of asthma, so kung me asthma kayo better do something about it
