most rural & cooperative banks offer that kind of interest rate (depends on your relationship with the bank manager). just limit your deposit to P250,000 for each account (so that it'll be covered by the PDIC should the bank close).

Mataas nga rates ng rural banks and even Land Bank... hassle lang puntahan kung di malapit sayo pero kung mga time dep or mga accounts na di mo gagalawin lagi ok lang...

Sa mga commercial banks, I like BDO and Ibank...

maganda rural bank like in rural bank of pque they have this double your money

to be safe u can deposit 250K para pasok sa PDIC insurance after 5 yrs magiging 500K sya but with them u can opt to get it on a monthly basis. so ur 250K will be divided in 60 months so ul get 4166/month for 5 yrs then after 5 yrs u can either redeposit ur initial 250k or just get it n lang. ung 4166 will be in the form of checks na u can deposit with ur other bank account.

about the dollar time dep i heard psbank is quite good medyo mataas daw rates.

Ang baba naman sa UCPB.. Take a look at BPI Global Philippine Fund. YTD rate niya ay 4.50% net.
