I would follow the suggestion about contacting Interpol and maybe also getting a clearance from the bank itself absolving you from any participation in the crime.

A signed and notarized affidavit from all of them would be a nice safeguard.

You're no longer on speaking terms with your ex sir? I wonder if it would also be a good idea to have her sign a notarized affidavit as well.

That was my first comment and suggestion sir. For him to file a signed and notarized affidavit. That will entail the services of a good lawyer who understands the nuances of such a case.

I can understand her reluctance sir. I'm sure she just wants to put all of that behind her.

But if she contacts you for any reason, I'm just thinking it might still be a good idea. Especially if she's trying to straighten out her life after that.

I know I would, if given the same situation.

Agree to disagree then sir. I know of some people who were able to turn their lives around and now live honest, honorable lives. It just takes the right motivation and good support group/ family/ friends behind them.

These were former drug addicts, they stole from and hurt people they love. Proper rehabilitation, caring families and good friends were able to help them. My own brother is one of those people I speak of.

Please don't discount human beings. We are still capable of positive change when given the right opportunities.
