New world order - you only get promoted if you've been doing 50% of the next level function. The other 50% is when you get the raise. Congrats bro!

I was given the work of our AVP when she was forced to retire. Now I'm doing an AVP function as a manager.

It sucks that our company is in a very bad position now. But my boss said at least we both have our jobs..50% na cut sa team namin

Not with us. It's hard to get into an AVP position. But with my previous bank, frontliners have high levels since they deal with HNW clients.

Even offshore banks. Our tellers get more than double of local bank tellers salary.

Our local banks has the worst salary structure. BDO pays their tellers peanuts plus they are required to work long hours and Saturdays.

Oh wow. Nobody can ever make me go on a holiday or weekend. Even my bosses know that. I don't understand companies that make their employees work 6 days a week
