Same here, with all the ass kissing, palakasan and padrino how can you attain progress fairly.

honestly naging complacent na ako sa position ko, it pays well naman still sino ba may ayaw ng higher position and higher income

still bumaba na drive ko the way i see how the management handles people.

andami ko ka-batch bachelors degree even their masters tapos na. Until now hindi pa din permanent

lahat ng open plantilla even the lowest entry point inaaplayan maregular lang still hindi pa din mapili

im thinking how the placement board choose their candidate.

as for me luck played a big role kung asan ako.

Congrats bro on your wifey's promotion! Btw, what type of company are you working for? Is it a government office? I am just surprised you have employees with masteral degree holders yet not regular employees. Do you annual perf review and merit system?

Natapos na rin ang hulog sa Fieldmaster. Time to rest a bit sa utang at pagisipan na ang next investment

Not all housewives marry rich though? Just enough to maintain a modest lifestyle even on a single income.

    Thanks bro!

Yes sa government ako. FYI lang sa governent kasi you just can't make a permanent position if you wanted to. For approval pa ito nh DBM, limited and plantilla positions (term for regular/permanent slots) so antay ka ng may ma-promote / mag resign / mag retire. So sa dami ng eyeing to become a regular employee pahirapan talaga. What more kung wala ka kuneksyon, in fairness pag technical positions they give a fair judgement hindi gaano glaring yung pulitika at palakasan.

One instance yung kakilala ko she's been eyeing for a position siguro 3yrs na, ganda ng credentials and yes may masteral siya (talo pa niya ako hehe). Rumor has it isa sa placement board hinaharang application niya personal reasons ata ayun ang saklap talaga. Still hoping pa din siya till now.

For regular employees, we do have annual performance review, and to tell you wala bumabagsak dun. Lahat mataas ang rating.

^Brother ng friend ko nahirapan din makapasok ng BSP. He has good credentials din naman but he had to wait over a year to get a post. His Dad is in politics kaya ginawan ng paraan. Paano pa pag walang connection. Pero ganda nga ng benefits sa BSP.

Ganun? Haven't worked for a govt office ever but how much is the usual pay for a govt employee? I know the president is only receiving 100k/month but of course the allowances would be another story which would put any corporate manager's pay to shame. I am just curious because I have been in a corporate world since my first job where the pay is always structured and the benefits are always benchmarked with industry peers. I am starting to think a government office would be a good retirement job! ))

I'm not sure but they have a lot of loans and the retirement pay is really really good. I also have a lot of classmates in grad school that are from BSP and everything is paid for including books. They also get to travel a lot (trainings in Europe etc)

But to give them credit, BSP is among the few goverment institutions that is still respectable. Takot lang namin pag may audit samin Pero grabe nga benefits and I heard madami daw sa BSP na anak mayaman pero staff level at petiks lang daw

Darn! If auditors are not able to catch this type of performance (petiks with pay) from BSP employees, no wonder the are so many govt employees who sleep on their job, take 1 hour coffee break, anothet 2 hour lunch break and leave the office by 4pm. I hate thinking how my taxes are being used! I have been suffering from too much govt red tapes, kutong cops and corruption I did not vote for the last 3 presidential elections. But I like P-Noy so far. Still hoping this country will progress and develop.

not GF but as a housewife

the husband's income has to be at least in the mid to high 6 figures

kung magkano kinikita ni cathy now kulang sa sarili niya (sa lagay na yan her lifestyle is already heavily subsidized -- free house, free car, free food, free utilities, etc)

Dem! And I thought my income could afford 2 wives! Dead-wrong! I am more convinced I should get a govt post or be a policeman! Look at cops having a family and a couple of cavity on the sides. They must be earning millions!

Auditors only review the reports, they don't look at employee performance (tardiness etc) Also, it's mostly BSP that does the auditing. hehe.
