Distinctive yung Dunkin Donuts brew. Kahit sa US, same lang yung lasa.

That's my deciding factor this year eh. Sabi ko sa sarili ko, kung this year wala pa rin, time to look for something better na.

There had been several changes in the upper management pati CEO kaya yung mga performance appraisals eh naapektuhan din daw.

I did not get anything po within the 7 years. minalas lang talaga.

Yun ang mahirap eh. Some companies find it hard to hand out 5% to 10% increases. Then employees resign looking to get better.

Once you start looking for a replacement for the resource who left, you’re looking at candidates with asking rates more than giving the employee a 10% increase. Sometimes, with a strict budget, you end up hiring a less capable replacement since the market rate for resources has grown.

If one of my staff asks me that, I will ask them in return if they deserve a raise.

I conditioned myself not to expect any raise due to the pandemic.

I was pleasantly surprised that they gave me a good increase as they said my work contributed to the company retaining their biggest client.
