Since diesel, hindi mamamatay ang makina mo bro dahil self sustaining siya - vs. gasoline which uses sparks/battery.

I had the same issue about a year ago, naputol ang alternator belt...(so mahina preno in my case).... Pinatay ko na lang ilaw, stereo, ac, to conserve on battery...

Yes, very useful ang voltmeter... In my case umilaw idiot lamp on the battery charging, including check engine....

i was once able to bring home my ancient electro-mechanical gasoline-engined car, with the alternator not functioning.
the alternator failed in the middle of the trip. it was a forty-five minute drive, with no traffic.
the battery was able to supply the necessary power until i got home. it was night; i just used my park lights to minimize battery drain. buti malaki-laki battery ko...

Good for you bro. Malakas kumain ng power ang sparks, so you must have a big power reserve in your battery... Next day start might have been a grind, but at least thankful you're safely home...

Hindi kasi nagrerecord yun CCTV and cant detect the HDD.
