I can relate. Inalagaan ko rin kasi yung auto ng matagal and it's good to know that the next owner is taking care of it well. My BFF has the same mindset, she is selling me her jazz kasi gusto niya yung maalaga daw next owner (I'm flattered)

in my experience naman,
we were selling the car because it's hassle to maintain it, as we already have several.
so, when we sold it, it was a relief that we didn't have to maintain it or even make silip it, anymore.

Oh samin kasi dr, like my brother he gets sawa easily so we don't always sell because it is a headche, but one thing I learned e pag "turn over" walang masasabi yung new owner, so it's always our practice na ayusin lahat bago ibenta at yung hindi declared naman, like my big body pangit na ang paint when I sold, puti kasi yun e.

Same here, so I never sell to my relatives or friends, dahil kahit na alaga ko Yan, you don't know when something will give kasi old na nga, tapos yan pa pagsisimulan ng tampuhan nyo.

when i purchased a close relative's car, years ago, i was ready to admit it was a used car.
at least, the provenance was un-impeachable. and that's the most important part of buying a used car.
over the course of several years, i fixed it up.
it's now in much better state than when i bought it.

and never did i bad-mouth the car to its previous owner.

So true. Last car I sold to a relative was given a lot less than the cheapest buy and sell guy. Maybe 20% at least. Got me thinking. We both might have been better off if I had just sold the car to a direct buyer and split the difference with him.

Tapos after a few weeks ang sabi bakit parang ang mahal daw ng bili nya. Never mind that the car had premium brakes, tires, shocks and a nice HU too. You really can't win with family
