I am so glad, that it took the developer so long to approve our plan otherwise I would have ended up getting these type of contractors. I finally had all approvals last August and since I have a lot of time as I can start as late as January, I have talked to a lot of Contractors and learned a lot. Like EQ mentioned, I had Contractors quoting me from 700k to 1.2M for the same project for labor only. one even quoted me 2.5M!

Now I am all set to close the deal at 1M, with luck, I may be able to complete our house at 3.5M with the structurals and finishing that I want. That's a far cry from the usual 4.5M - 5M all in quotes I got.

Thats great news !!!!!!! The project manager will be your Frenemy. Hehehehe.

Maliit lang bro, bale around 6.6k/sqm ang labor, meron half price pero I doubt kung maayos ang gawa or mananakbo ng dp.

It's always like that, even with labor & materials contractors, ain't it sir? Unless you choose to just give him the money and just visit the house after it's finished. But then again, if it's finished and the job is shoddy, it still goes the same way. Unless again, you don't care, coz your just flippin it.
