Management made an 11th hour decision that required a sizeable amount of funding, after we wrapped up our Dec-Jan cash plan (I do Treasury work). If we execute, it would give good returns come next year and we didn't want to be the weak link.

This happened after most banks adjourned their Credit and Executive Committees and that posed a large hurdle. I really had to pull out all the change in my pockets and run all connections with upper bank management.

The nice thing about that was I saw employees that are reliable and capable, and other departments we work closely with really have the commitment to work together. My last email before closing shop was to our heads, asking that the proper commendations be given out next year.

Looking back, 2017 has been a great year.

The early part of my year was eventful due to a major career change that has stretched me and forced me to soar higher than I did before.

The latter part of my year was momentous because of my engagement to my fiance, a dream come true.

In between, lots of fun experiences (travels, races, new toys). Looking forward to an even better 2018!

It was a real nice drive to MCX. Does that area get traffic in regular days? My only issue is the toll OMG! Sta Rosa is P175 and I was surprised that MCX is around P125 e ang lapit lapit (compared to Sta Rosa).
